Optional Telos accountability

Make showing up the easy part.

A prompt. Someone to ask the questions. A regular appointment to keep your tiny practice present.

Accountability can support your free Daily Questions and Microgoal, the online course or either guided programme.

Choose what helps you return

Support around the practice—not more homework.

Tell us your preferred option. We confirm availability, price, days and exact service before you book. No automated service or subscription is activated by an enquiry.

Email or SMS reminder

A scheduled prompt to open your questions and remember your Microgoal. You enter your own answers privately; no need to send scores by text.

Enquire about availability.

AI telephone check-in

An automated call to ask the questions and prompt your chosen tiny action. Ask about the proposed format and recording arrangements.

Planned service · Not activated yet.

Human telephone check-in

A person asks the questions and checks whether you completed your Microgoal. An ordinary check-in is not a coaching session or an analysis of your answers.

Schedule and availability by arrangement.

With either guided programme

Daily 15-minute group check-ins.

Add a short Zoom or Teams appointment during the two-week or six-week programme. Answer questions, check the Microgoal and keep your reasons and countermeasures in view.

This is separate from the teaching sessions. The standard two-week add-on covers 10 weekday check-ins; the six-week add-on covers 30, each for a group of up to 15. Any different schedule is agreed separately.

Keep the Microgoal tiny

One sentence. One press-up. One item put away. At first, do only the one action, then stop. A caller should reinforce that small target, not turn it into a bigger demand.

The questions use 0–10 effort scores. A Microgoal check is simply whether the tiny action happened; the two are different measures.

Clear privacy boundaries

Choose what you share.

The private workbook encrypts what you enter. It is not an employer dashboard and a caller is not automatically given access to it.

If you speak a score to a person or group, they can hear it. Any call recording, score recording or AI processing must be explained and agreed separately before that service starts. Do not assume a call writes into your encrypted history.

Continue only if it helps

You can keep using the free questions without paid support. Continuing accountability after a course is an optional separate arrangement, not automatic renewal.

For organisations, any agreed programme feedback uses separate voluntary feedback—not private workbook entries or named scores.

This research supports monitoring as a practice. It does not show that Telos paid reminders or calls outperform free self-entry.

Exercise 1 of The Telos Method

Begin with the first Telos practice.

Begin with six honest answers about happiness, meaning, engagement, relationships and your goals. Alongside them, choose one optional Microgoal if there is a behaviour you want to begin or return to.

Daily Questions · One optional Microgoal · Your reflections stay private

Daily Questions

Did I do my best to...?

  1. Answer the six Daily Questions.
  2. Consider the time since you last scored yourself.
  3. Score honestly from 0 to 10.
  4. Choose one optional Microgoal.
  5. Look back at your history when useful.

Score reasonable effort, not outcomes beyond your control.
