The Telos Method

The practical method for people who are done with knowing and ready to start doing.

Nine practical exercises for turning intention into action.

The Telos Method turns the gap between intention and action into something you can work with. Instead of trying to force yourself through a perfect new routine, you learn to notice the pattern, ask better questions and make a useful action easier to repeat.

What the method gives you

A compact, repeatable system for better follow-through.

The method contains nine short question-and-answer exercises, organised across Create Clarity, Work With Friction and Build Follow-Through. Each exercise is designed to support reflection and a practical next step. You can use the framework for a personal habit, important work, study, sales activity or any other behaviour that matters to you.

Part one: Create Clarity

See the thinking that directs your choices.

The first three exercises help you make your internal conversation more visible: the questions you are asking, the reasons that make change meaningful, and the stories that keep an old pattern comfortable.

Daily Questions

Create a more deliberate daily check-in.

Make It Matter

Make your personal reasons for change clearer.

Challenge the Story

Recognise and challenge the familiar thinking that gives delay a convincing voice.

Part two: Work With Friction

Create more space between a feeling and your next action.

The next three exercises explore the emotional and situational patterns surrounding behaviour. They are designed to build awareness and help participants practise a more intentional response.

Change the Experience

Experiment with the sensory qualities of an internal image, feeling or memory.

The Pattern Journal

Make recurring thoughts, feelings, situations and behaviours more visible.

Sensory Rehearsal

Use guided attention and sensory imagination to support a chosen emotional and physical state.

Part three: Build Follow-Through

Turn ambition into a behaviour you can actually repeat.

The final three exercises help you make action clear, small and planned for real conditions.

The Smallest Useful Step

Create an easy first action linked to a useful cue.

Set a Clear Direction

Make the direction, milestones and evidence of progress visible.

Rehearse the Future

Picture the desired result, anticipate obstacles and prepare a workable response.

Optional daily accountability
